About the farm

In a world of supply chain issues, local produce is king.

Your Farmer

This is a dog, not me, but the dog is cooler. His name is Jake.

My name is Marty and Under Wraps Farm has been in the back of my mind for at least two years now. I believe local production is key to keeping communities whole.

My wife and our two kids live in Randolph, Ohio. And we love homegrown food.

We Need Sustainable Farming

Modern agriculture is highly mechanized and relies on harmful chemical inputs at every stage. Under Wraps farm, like many others, is a model of a better future.

Providing local produce
Northeast Ohio has many local farms, why not another? We don’t need to ship in lettuce from across the country!

Sustainable agriculture
Extracting fossil fuels and other limited resources to convert into grains is not sustainable in the long term. Too much of the food we eat is transmutated oil. Soil is a living thing and great food depends on great soil. Chemical inputs destroy the micro-organisms keeping the soil and the plants healthy.

Growing under wraps
Changing weather and practicality means more and more produce will be grown under cover. I have two caterpillar tunnels dedicated to production. Tunnels offer protection from cold, wind and rain to produce earlier and healthier vegetables.
